Spring into Auction

So the second Annual Art Auction is fast approaching. Its the second annual and I'm going to tell you about it. Its creators and members of the Moncton Rotary, developed this because someone said lets do a Fundraser that is all about Art.So we did. This was an honor to be asked to join this committee, I learned a lot and after being out of corporate, well anything corporate for 15 years or more there was alot to learn. This Artist knows paint, textures, alot about Vintage but how to navigate a website or follow instructions, how how to download a document oh boy. But this project turned me into someone who cares more about others and sharing and caring and all the flowery stuff. No really it did. I decided to do centre pieces last year they were a hit and omg they flew out at the end of the night. So this year I'm doing them again and they will be auctioned off, So great. So we with this fundraiser invite Artists to submit one or two paintings they will get half of what the painting brings in and the other half to the YWCA. The YWCA is in the second year of partnering and the goal is to sell and promote the Artists and to raise funds for the Y's many outreach programs. Two months away and I have the Vases, started, I decided to paint vases with Flowers and Spring in mind. I'm also painting them with Alcohol Inks. Going to show you a few I have done.
